On a recent business trip to Denver I and some friends had the opportuntity
to visit Pantera Performance in Castle Rock, Colorado.
Dennis Quella gave us the Grand Tour and we must have spent at least an hour in his shop. Kudos Dennis!
I took some pictures of interesting "things":
Here Dennis shows his race Pantera. He said that his opponents can hear
him close up behind. I have no reason to doubt this ;-)
Closeup of the exhaust and fuel injection.
Supercharged GT-5. Notice the super charger belt drive. The belt goes
around the clutch within the bellhouse!
Dennis shows his new brake rotors.
Fuel injection for... a Chevy! Yes, he had a big block Chevy engine
in a corner of the shop that was going into a Pantera. A customer job no
doubt.
Dennis had obtained the plastic parts from the race Pantera 200. It
appears that they are ending up on an older Pantera. Wanna wanna...
On our way from PPC to Colorado Springs we came across this.
It would have been amusing watching someone trying to get this through
a Swedish Vehicle Safety Inspection ;-)
